Club Times

Mondays and Thursdays Beginners 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Obedience Dog Training for Beginners (both dog and owners).

On your first night at the club you will be given a short introductory talk.
We will talk you through the exercises that we do in the beginners class.

No need to book, just turn up at approximately 6:45pm along with your dog,
register and then join straight into the class after the introduction talk.
Or if you prefer, you can turn up and watch the class.
(
Please note that although you are welcome to come and watch, there is limited space for spectators)

A great way to socialise your dog and learn some basic obedience exercises.

Monday and Thursday Advanced 8:15pm - 9:15pm

Obedience Dog Training for those who have gained the
 'Ryehill Dog Club Pre-Beginners Certificate'.

In this class, more advanced obedience exercises are learnt,
including Positions on the move, Distance control, etc.

Members can also work towards the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Endorsed Tests
( see the ERYC page for more details).

Agility Courses

We occasionally hold Agility courses, these are usually held on a Tuesday Evening.
Dogs must be in the Advanced class so they have some basic obedience,
be 12 calendar months of age or over, and be in general good health.

Please note we do not normally allow spectators to watch the Agility courses due to limited space

Tuesday Instructors Night

Tuesday Evenings are set aside for Training of the Instructors.
All the instructors work their own dogs to advanced level

We also accept instructors from other clubs.
Under certain circumstances, by arrangement, we do allow members
of our own club to come along on Tuesday nights if they have a problem
or just want to put in some extra time to improve the precision of the exercises.

ERYC Tests are also held on Tuesday nights at regular intervals.
See the ERYC page for details or the News page for 2008 dates.
